'VEGAS Pro has stopped working.' When I tried a trial of VP16, it wasn't any better. I get tons of crashes with VP15 when using effects on the timeline. Honestly, I find it's incredibly unusable when using effects - even those bundled with the application.
It depends on your system, and the type of footage you're working with. Not sure if your version of VEGAS is updated?
